BBL HEROic and HALO in Dallas, TX

Advanced Light and Laser Treatment With Clinical Precision

Sun damage rarely shows up alone. Brown spots surface alongside redness, rough texture, and the first fine lines, and no amount of good skincare seems to reach any of it.

BBL HEROic and HALO work differently, which is why they complement each other. BBL HEROic uses BroadBand Light to target unwanted pigmentation, redness and visible blood vessels while supporting collagen remodeling. HALO uses hybrid fractional laser energy to address texture, pigmentation, pores, fine lines, and deeper skin remodeling at customizable depths. At Entice Intimate Wellness + Aesthetics in Dallas, TX, both are performed by experienced aesthetic providers within the personalized, physician-led approach established by founder Dr. Wesley Anne Brady.

The Entice Approach to BBL HEROic and HALO

BBL HEROic and HALO are two of several advanced technologies available at Entice, which means your treatment recommendation is not limited to a single device. Our clinical team looks at the full picture behind your concerns and recommends the treatment, or combination of treatments, best suited to your needs.

Skin assessment comes first, particularly with light-based treatment. Your provider will evaluate your Fitzpatrick skin type, recent sun exposure, medical history, medications, and the type of pigmentation or redness being treated before recommending BBL HEROic, HALO, or another approach.

What makes the Entice approach different:

What is BBL HEROic?

BBL HEROic is an advanced light-based treatment designed to improve skin tone, clarity, and overall skin quality by addressing concerns including sun damage, pigmentation, redness, and early signs of aging.

Using BroadBand Light technology, the treatment delivers precise pulses of light energy that target excess pigment and visible blood vessels while also supporting collagen remodeling. It is a versatile in-office treatment for patients seeking clearer, brighter, more even-looking skin with minimal downtime.

What BBL HEROic May Help Address

What is HALO?

HALO is a hybrid fractional laser that combines two complementary wavelengths in a single treatment. One wavelength provides fractional ablative resurfacing of the outer skin, while the second non-ablative wavelength reaches deeper into the skin to stimulate collagen and elastin remodeling.

Because both wavelengths are delivered together and can be customized by depth and density, HALO can address pigmentation, uneven texture, enlarged pores, fine lines, scarring, and other signs of sun damage in the same treatment.

What HALO May Help Address

How Do BBL HEROic and HALO Work Together?

BBL HEROic and HALO work differently and have overlapping but distinct strengths, which is why they can complement each other in a treatment plan.

BBL HEROic is particularly useful for brown spots, sun damage, redness, visible blood vessels, and uneven tone. HALO adds fractional resurfacing to address concerns such as texture, enlarged pores, fine lines, acne scarring, and more significant skin-quality changes while also improving pigmentation.

For some patients, BBL HEROic may serve as an ongoing corrective and maintenance treatment, while HALO may be incorporated when more significant resurfacing is appropriate. During your consultation, your provider will determine whether BBL HEROic, HALO, or a combination best matches your skin and goals.

BBL HEROic and HALO Treatment Areas

Treatment areas vary depending on the technology being used, your skin type, and the concerns being addressed. Common treatment areas include:
Larger body areas such as the arms, legs, and back are treated in select cases. Your provider will determine which technology and treatment are appropriate for your skin.

BBL HEROic and HALO Benefits

What to Expect with BBL HEROic and HALO at Entice

Consultation

Your consultation begins with a conversation about the changes you have noticed and what you hope to improve. We’ll evaluate your skin, identify whether your primary concern is pigment, redness, texture, scarring, or a combination, and assess your Fitzpatrick skin type.

That assessment determines whether these treatments are appropriate for you. Light-based treatment is not suitable for every skin type, and recent sun exposure, certain photosensitizing medications, or use of isotretinoin, commonly known as Accutane, can all affect treatment candidacy or timing.

Treatment

BBL HEROic delivers pulses of light energy to the skin while a built-in sapphire cooling tip keeps you comfortable. Most patients describe a quick snapping similar to a rubber band and a sensation of warmth during treatment. Treatment is typically well tolerated without the need for topical numbing. Facial treatments generally take approximately 15 to 30 minutes, with larger areas taking longer.

HALO begins with topical numbing to help keep you comfortable. Your provider then guides the handpiece across the treatment area while the system delivers both wavelengths at settings customized to your skin and treatment goals. Most patients describe a warm or tingling sensation. Treatment time varies by area and intensity, with many treatments lasting approximately 30 to 45 minutes.

Recovery and Aftercare

After BBL HEROic, mild warmth and redness are common and typically resolve within a few hours to a day. Pigmented spots may temporarily darken before naturally flaking away over one to two weeks as your skin renews. Most patients resume normal activities immediately after treatment.

HALO requires more healing time. Redness, swelling, and a sunburn-like sensation are common during the first few days, followed by bronzing and gentle peeling or shedding as the skin renews. Small dark areas called MENDS may appear as treated tissue clears. Most patients experience approximately 3 to 6 days of visible healing, depending on treatment intensity.

Both treatments require diligent sun protection and gentle skincare during healing. Before you leave, we’ll review your personalized aftercare instructions, including when to resume active skincare ingredients and how to protect your skin from UV exposure while it heals.

BBL HEROic and HALO Results

With BBL HEROic, some patients notice improvement within the first one to two weeks after treatment. Pigmented areas may temporarily darken before fading or flaking away, while improvements in tone, clarity, and redness continue gradually over time. At Entice, most patients begin with a series of three treatments spaced approximately four to six weeks apart, with additional or maintenance treatments recommended based on your skin and response.

With HALO, initial improvements in tone and clarity may become visible within three to five days as the skin heals, with continued improvement over the following weeks as collagen remodeling continues. Most patients require approximately one to three treatments, depending on their goals, treatment intensity, and desired downtime. Results can be long-lasting with consistent sun protection, and maintenance treatment may be recommended over time.

We’ll monitor your response and recommend future treatment based on your individual skin, goals, sun exposure, and how your results develop. Results vary, and outcomes cannot be guaranteed.

Why Choose Entice Intimate Wellness + Aesthetics?

Laser and light-based treatment requires more than knowing how to operate a device. The right treatment depends on your skin type, the concern being treated, your medical and treatment history, recent sun exposure, and how your skin responds. At Entice, those factors are evaluated before we recommend BBL HEROic, HALO, or another approach.

Entice was founded by Dr. Wesley Anne Brady around a personalized approach to women’s wellness and aesthetics, while treatments are performed by trained aesthetic providers with hands-on experience and certifications in advanced laser and light-based technologies.

BBL HEROic and HALO FAQs

BBL HEROic and HALO are two advanced Sciton technologies used to improve different aspects of skin tone and texture. BBL HEROic uses BroadBand Light to target concerns such as sun damage, brown spots, redness, and visible blood vessels. HALO is a hybrid fractional laser that addresses pigmentation while also resurfacing the skin to improve texture, pores, fine lines, and scarring.

They can be used individually or together depending on your skin and treatment goals.

BBL HEROic is often the better fit when brown spots, sun damage, redness, visible blood vessels, or uneven tone are the primary concerns. HALO may be recommended when texture, enlarged pores, fine lines, acne scarring, or more significant resurfacing are also priorities.

There is some overlap, particularly with pigmentation, which is why your provider may recommend one treatment or incorporate both into your plan.

BBL HEROic is a form of advanced intense pulsed light treatment, but it is not the same as every traditional IPL system. BBL HEROic uses BroadBand Light technology with customizable filters, advanced sapphire tip cooling, and technology designed to provide precise, consistent energy delivery across the treatment area.

Patients sometimes refer to BBL as an IPL facial or photo facial, but at Entice we use the term BroadBand Light, or BBL, because the technology and treatment capabilities are more specific.

Not every treatment is appropriate for every skin type. HALO can be customized across a broad range of Fitzpatrick skin types, while BBL HEROic requires more careful patient selection and is not recommended for every skin tone or pigment concern.

Your provider will assess your Fitzpatrick skin type, pigmentation, recent sun exposure, medical history, and medications before recommending treatment. If BBL HEROic or HALO is not the right fit, we’ll discuss another option.

Melasma requires a more cautious approach than typical sun spots or age-related pigmentation. At Entice, BBL HEROic is not considered an ideal primary treatment for melasma because heat and light-based treatments can sometimes aggravate certain types of pigment.

HALO may be considered for melasma or dyschromia in appropriately selected patients, but your skin type, pigment pattern, medical history, and treatment history need to be evaluated first. Your provider may also recommend medical-grade skincare or other therapies as part of your treatment plan.

Treatment plans vary by concern and skin response. At Entice, most BBL HEROic corrective patients begin with a series of three treatments spaced approximately four to six weeks apart, although additional or maintenance sessions may be recommended.

HALO treatment plans are typically shorter, with approximately one to three sessions depending on your goals, treatment intensity, and desired downtime. Your provider will recommend a plan based on your skin rather than a fixed number of treatments.

BBL HEROic typically involves minimal downtime. Mild redness or warmth may occur for several hours, and pigmented spots can temporarily darken before fading or flaking away. Most patients return to normal activities immediately.

HALO requires more visible healing time. Redness, swelling, bronzing, and gentle peeling are common, with approximately three to six days of visible recovery depending on treatment intensity.

Both treatments are generally well tolerated, but they feel different. BBL HEROic is often described as mild warmth or a quick snapping sensation similar to a rubber band, and topical numbing is not usually required.

HALO begins with topical numbing, and most patients describe warmth, tingling, or heat during treatment. Your provider can adjust treatment settings based on your skin, goals, and comfort.

Yes. BBL HEROic and HALO are often complementary because they have overlapping but different strengths. BBL HEROic can target pigmentation, redness, and visible blood vessels, while HALO adds fractional resurfacing for concerns such as texture, pores, fine lines, and scarring.

If both tone and texture are priorities, your provider may recommend incorporating both technologies into your treatment plan.

With BBL HEROic, some patients notice improvement within the first one to two weeks. Pigmented areas may initially darken before fading or flaking, while improvements in tone, redness, and clarity continue gradually over time.

With HALO, initial improvements in tone and clarity may appear within three to five days as the skin heals, with continued improvement over the following weeks as collagen remodeling continues.

Treatment may need to be postponed or avoided during pregnancy, with an active infection or open wound in the treatment area, after significant recent sun exposure or tanning, or with recent isotretinoin use. Certain photosensitizing medications, active cold sores, medical conditions that affect healing, and other health factors may also affect candidacy.

BBL HEROic and HALO have different treatment parameters and candidacy considerations, so your provider will review your medical history, medications, skin type, and recent sun exposure before recommending either treatment.

No. BBL HEROic and HALO can produce long-lasting improvements, but your skin continues to change with aging, hormonal changes, environmental exposure, and future sun damage. New pigmentation and other signs of aging can develop over time.

Daily sun protection, appropriate skincare, and maintenance treatments can help preserve your results. Your provider will recommend maintenance based on how your skin responds rather than assuming everyone needs the same schedule.

I’ve been coming to Entice …for many years, having everything from surgery, to skin care and sexual treatments to HRT, and always enjoyed the services I’ve received there. The staff is great, friendly and helpful, and facilities are very nice and peaceful. They also offer services that you can’t find anywhere else. Everything a woman could want and didn’t know she needed! I appreciate that they keep abreast of all the new and innovative procedures. Now that I’m getting older, I love knowing that I don’t have to be “old” sexually. There are so many options out there to help improve our sex lives and they offer them all. I’m more active now than I’ve ever been and thoroughly enjoying it! Very impressive! I’ve researched other facilities but have yet to find a place that offers all that Entice does. More women should know about them.
