What is Clitoxin™?

Clitoxin™ is a non-surgical treatment that uses a small, precise dose of botulinum toxin (Botox) injected into the clitoral area to support blood flow, nerve responsiveness, and the muscular dynamics involved in arousal. It may be combined with platelet-rich plasma (PRP) to further support tissue health and sensitivity.

This is an off-label application of botulinum toxin, similar to its use for lip flips. It is an advanced treatment focused on the physiological contributors to sexual function. Your provider will discuss the treatment, potential risks and benefits, and available alternatives with you before determining whether it is appropriate for your needs.

How Does Clitoxin™ Work?

Clitoxin™ uses a carefully controlled dose of botulinum toxin in the clitoral area. By temporarily relaxing targeted muscle activity, the treatment is intended to support the physiological response involved in arousal, sensitivity, and sexual function.

For some patients, Clitoxin™ may be combined with PRP, which uses components of your own blood to support tissue health and responsiveness. Your provider will determine whether Clitoxin™ alone or a combination approach is appropriate for you.

What Clitoxin™ May Help Address

What to Expect With Clitoxin™ at Entice

Consultation

A consultation is required before treatment is scheduled. Your provider reviews your full medical history, discusses what you are hoping to change, and walks through the risks, benefits, and alternatives so you can make an informed decision about your care.

Treatment

Topical numbing is applied before treatment for your comfort. Your provider then administers a precise dose of botulinum toxin into the targeted clitoral tissue using a fine needle. The injection itself takes about 5 minutes.

Aftercare and Recovery

There is little to no downtime following Clitoxin™. Mild swelling or tenderness at the injection site may occur, but you can otherwise return to most normal daily activities immediately. Sexual activity can typically be resumed 48 hours after treatment, unless otherwise instructed by your provider.

Clitoxin™ Results

Results develop gradually as the botulinum toxin takes effect, with changes typically becoming noticeable within 1 to 2 weeks.

Every patient responds differently, and results are not guaranteed. Some women may experience significant improvement, while others may notice more subtle changes or no effect at all.

Results are temporary. When treatment is effective, repeat treatment may be recommended to maintain results. Your provider will help determine the appropriate timing based on your individual response.
