Intimacy Re-Imagined

Most women who come to Entice for the O-Shot describe the same thing in different words. Something has changed. Sensation is not what it was, orgasm takes more effort than it used to, or intimacy has quietly become something to get through rather than enjoy.

That conversation belongs somewhere, and this is the place for it. At Entice, sexual wellness is treated as an important part of women’s health with care provided by our all-female team guided by Dr. Wesley Anne Brady’s 20+ years of experience in women’s health.

Entice serves patients throughout Dallas and Park Cities. Call (214) 774-2025 today to schedule your consultation.

The Entice Approach to the O-Shot

Sexual health is complex, and changes in sensation, arousal, orgasm, lubrication, or sexual satisfaction do not always have a single cause. The O-Shot is one of several intimate wellness treatments available at Entice, which allows your provider to look at the bigger picture before recommending a treatment plan.

Your consultation considers your symptoms, sexual health, tissue health, hormones, pelvic floor function, and other factors that may be contributing to what you are experiencing. The goal is a treatment plan built around your individual concerns rather than a one-size-fits-all solution.

Because PRP works by supporting your body’s own regenerative processes, results develop gradually rather than appearing overnight. Your provider will help you understand what changes may be realistic for you and what to expect over the weeks and months following treatment.

What defines the Entice approach:

What Is the O-Shot?

The O-Shot is a non-surgical regenerative treatment that uses platelet-rich plasma, or PRP, derived from your own blood. PRP contains a concentration of platelets and associated growth factors that are used to support the body’s natural tissue repair and regenerative processes.

During the O-Shot, PRP is injected into targeted clitoral and upper vaginal tissue involved in sexual response. The treatment is designed to support concerns such as decreased sensation, arousal, orgasm, and other changes in sexual function. The O-Shot is considered an off-label use of PRP.

How Does the O-Shot Work?

A small blood sample is drawn and processed in a specialized centrifuge to isolate the platelet-rich plasma (PRP). The concentrated PRP is then precisely injected into targeted clitoral and upper vaginal tissue.

From there, the growth factors within PRP are intended to support the body’s natural regenerative processes in the treated tissue. This may support circulation, tissue health, and sensitivity over time, which is why results typically develop gradually over the weeks and months following treatment.

What the O-Shot May Help Address

Results vary significantly between patients, and sexual function can be influenced by many different factors. Your provider will evaluate your concerns and discuss whether the O-Shot is appropriate for your individual goals.

What to Expect With the O-Shot at Entice

Before Your Appointment

If you move forward with treatment, our clinical team will provide personalized preparation instructions based on your treatment plan and medical history. These may include guidance about:

  • Medications and supplements
  • Alcohol and tobacco use
  • Hydration
  • Preparing the treatment area
  • Any other steps needed to help you prepare for your appointment

Please follow the specific instructions provided by your clinical team, and reach out to them with any questions before your appointment.

Your Visit

A small blood sample is collected and processed in a specialized centrifuge to isolate and concentrate the platelet-rich plasma. A topical anesthetic is applied for comfort, and the PRP is then precisely injected into targeted clitoral and upper vaginal tissue.

Most patients describe the procedure as quick and well tolerated. Plan for approximately 30 to 45 minutes for your appointment.

Aftercare and Recovery

Recovery is minimal, and most patients can return to normal daily activities right away. For the first 24 hours, avoid touching or scrubbing the injection sites and avoid high heat, including saunas, steam rooms, very hot showers, and hot yoga. Strenuous exercise should also be avoided for 24 hours.

Temporary redness, swelling, bruising, tenderness, tingling, numbness, or a sensation of pressure or fullness may occur after treatment. These effects typically improve as the treated area settles.

Sexual intercourse is encouraged during the first 24 to 48 hours after treatment to help disperse the PRP.

O-Shot Results

O-Shot results develop gradually. Most patients begin to notice improvement within approximately 3 to 5 weeks, with full benefits typically developing around 3 months after treatment. Improvements may include changes in sensation, arousal, orgasm, lubrication, or overall sexual satisfaction, depending on your individual concerns and response to treatment.

Results vary from patient to patient, and some women may benefit from additional treatment if their desired response has not been reached. To help maintain results, Entice generally recommends maintenance treatments every 6 to 12 months.

How the O-Shot Compares to Other Options

Entice offers several approaches to sexual wellness and function. The right option depends on what may be contributing to your concerns and what you hope to improve.

The O-Shot

Regenerative treatment. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is used to support tissue health, sensitivity, arousal, and sexual function across targeted clitoral and vaginal tissue.

The G-Shot®

Targeted enhancement. Hyaluronic acid dermal filler adds volume to the G-spot area, making it more prominent and accessible to stimulation.

Clitoxin™

Neuromodulator treatment. Botulinum toxin is strategically injected around the clitoral region to reduce excessive muscle tension and support the physiological processes involved in arousal, sensation, and sexual function.

Energy-Based Treatments

Tissue remodeling and intimate wellness. Treatments such as Votiva and Morpheus8V use radiofrequency energy to address vulvar and vaginal tissue health, while VTone uses electrical muscle stimulation to strengthen the pelvic floor.

Hormone Replacement Therapy

Hormone optimization. Personalized hormone therapy may help address changes in libido, arousal, vaginal health, and sexual function associated with hormonal changes or deficiencies.

For some women, more than one factor contributes to changes in sexual function. Your provider will help determine which approach, or combination of approaches, best aligns with your symptoms and goals.

O-Shot FAQs

Most patients tolerate the O-Shot well. Topical numbing is used before treatment to help minimize discomfort. Some patients describe a slight pinch or warm sensation during the injections.

Most patients begin with one treatment. Results are typically evaluated over the following weeks and months, and additional treatment may be recommended based on your individual response and goals. Maintenance treatments are generally recommended every 6 to 12 months.

Yes. Menstruation does not affect the safety or effectiveness of the treatment.

The O-Shot is a PRP treatment and does not contain hormones. Because changes in sexual function can have multiple contributing factors, your provider will evaluate whether hormonal changes may also be affecting concerns such as desire, arousal, lubrication, or sexual response. When appropriate, hormone therapy or another treatment may be recommended as part of your plan.

The treatments work differently. The O-Shot uses platelet-rich plasma from your own blood to support regenerative processes within targeted clitoral and vaginal tissue. The G-Shot uses hyaluronic acid dermal filler to add targeted volume to the G-spot area, making it more prominent and accessible to stimulation.

Depending on your concerns and goals, your provider can help determine which approach is more appropriate.

Because PRP is prepared from your own blood, the O-Shot does not introduce donor blood or synthetic filler into the treatment area. However, as with any injection procedure, risks and potential complications exist. These can include swelling, bruising, tenderness, infection, changes in sensation, urinary symptoms, and other complications. Your provider will review the potential risks with you before treatment.

The O-Shot is an off-label use of PRP, meaning PRP has not been specifically approved by the FDA for this use.

Results vary, and not every patient responds to the O-Shot in the same way. If you have not achieved your desired response, your provider can reassess your symptoms and discuss whether another O-Shot or a different intimate wellness treatment may be appropriate.

Yes. Depending on what is contributing to your concerns, the O-Shot may be incorporated into a broader treatment plan with options such as Votiva, Morpheus8V, VTone, hormone therapy, or other intimate wellness treatments available at Entice. Your provider will recommend combination treatment based on your individual symptoms and goals.

The O-Shot is an elective treatment and is generally not covered by insurance. Our team will review current pricing and available payment options with you before treatment.

I’ve been coming to Entice …for many years, having everything from surgery, to skin care and sexual treatments to HRT, and always enjoyed the services I’ve received there. The staff is great, friendly and helpful, and facilities are very nice and peaceful. They also offer services that you can’t find anywhere else. Everything a woman could want and didn’t know she needed! I appreciate that they keep abreast of all the new and innovative procedures. Now that I’m getting older, I love knowing that I don’t have to be “old” sexually. There are so many options out there to help improve our sex lives and they offer them all. I’m more active now than I’ve ever been and thoroughly enjoying it! Very impressive! I’ve researched other facilities but have yet to find a place that offers all that Entice does. More women should know about them.
